The Rahman Mosque of Beirut

Another Ramadan glides away in the blink of an eye… May Allah grant us the privilege of living through many more, with the hope of winning in good deeds and spiritual growth.

Ramadan this year was an opportunity for me to discover a new mosque in beautiful Ras Beirut, located in a prime yet unexpected location near the corniche.

The Al Rahman (الرّحمن) mosque, open since February 2010 in the Caracas area, is a beautiful example of a small, cozy mosque embracing modern esthetics and architecture:
